Il Podere San Quirico, thanks to its strategic location, offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the many resources available in the area, from tastings in the cellar, bike, quad, scooter or horse rides, to the spas or walks along the numerous trekking routes and of course visit villages and cities of art.
As hosts we are available to assist you in all your needs and if you want to advise you on what to visit in the surrounding area always respecting the freedom that guests want to enjoy.
The town of Castelnuovo Berardenga is a five minute walk away where you will find coffee bars, restaurants, newsagent, tobacconist, pharmacy and a local market on Thursdays.
Since the territory is very vast, it is strongly recommended to reach us by car, for those arriving by plane in Florence, Pisa or Fiumicino there are many car rental companies within the same airports while those arriving at the Siena railway station are, a few hundred meters, an AVIS car rental but there are many others within the city. If you are unable to reach us by car, it is important to reach the Siena station and not the Castelnuovo Berardenga station which is 4 km from the town center and has absolutely no connections. From Siena it is possible to take a taxi or a bus that can take you to your destination.
Art City
As well as Siena, a short distance away you can visit many other cities such as Florence (90 km), Arezzo (50 km), Perugia (80 km) and a number of well known villages such as Montepulciano, Montalcino, Cortona, Sansepolcro , Pienza, Castellina, Radda, Gaiole and Greve in Chianti, not far away there are the beautiful Val d'Orcia and Val di Merse.
Thermal Springs
There are thermal springs in Rapolano (10 km) where there are two spas whose waters flow at a temperature of about 40 °. They are particularly suitable for respiratory, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and skin treatments.
The Rooms
Inside the farmhouse, up to 16 people can be accommodated in 7 rooms with private bathroom, two of which have a third bed available; the furniture is made with period furniture belonging to the history of the family. Breakfast is served in a dining room on a single large table that invites conviviality.
Organic Products
We are certified organic and offer our customers the opportunity to purchase the oil we produce. If guests like the jams we serve at breakfast, they can buy them at the farm, obviously the fruit is also organic and produced by us.
