The Agriturismo Podere San Quirico, in an old building from the 1300s, is located in the Chianti countryside, in the heart of Tuscany, a few minutes' walk from the center of Castelnuovo Berardenga and a few kilometers from the city of Siena.

Podere San Quirico can accommodate up to 16 people in 7 rooms, two of which have at their disposal a third bed, the furnishings are original antique furniture from the owners family. Breakfast is served in a dining room with a big table that invites friendship.

A beautiful swimming pool is available to guests of Podere San Quirico where they can relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape of vineyards and olive trees that the Tuscan countryside offers. The swimming pool is open from June to September (not heated).

PODERE SAN QUIRICO

The farmhouse “Podere San Quirico” is an old farmhouse built in 1300, located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, a few kilometers from Siena in the Chianti countryside and offers rooms with ensuite bathrooms for you to spend your Tuscan holidays in comfort. On a hill covered with vineyards and olive trees, five minutes walk from the town center, the owners have recently renovated the old farmhouse taking care to maintain the typical Tuscan style. Inside 7 rooms, two of which have at their disposal a third bed, the furnishings are original antique furniture from Tuscany or from the owners Neapolitan family.

We are a certified organic company and we offer our customers the opportunity to purchase, in addition to the extra virgin olive oil of our production and the wine of a friendly winery also marmalade and preserves made at home.

Cooking classes by reservation

Inside the Agriturismo, with advance booking, it is possible to try your hand at a cooking class where you can learn how to make fresh pasta or the typical “cantuccini” biscuits, or take advantage of the fixed menu dinner based on our garden products and the typical Chianina beef or Tuscan pecorino cheese. Pets friends are welcome they cannot be left alone in the room and for them an extra is required for cleaning the room with special products on their departures.

Swimming pool and green spaces

You can enjoy the large green spaces in the shade of the trees, eat under a pergola covered with a wisteria or laze by the pool.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY COMPANY

We installed 10kw solar panels that cover our entire energy needs.

The water supply is provided from an artesian well and also a public aqueduct. For watering the garden and grounds rainwater collection tanks are used.

Trying to limit the use of detergents will make linen change every three days or more often if we are required by the customer.
